Film Pitch Feedback

Our assignment for today was to hear another group's film idea and get them to sell us their movie and vice versa. The group that we pitched to gave us useful and informative feedback and also asked questions like: 

What is the setting for the opening of your film? 

The setting will be at Christinas' house and part of the C building. 

They gave us advice such as:

Be sure to wear consistent clothing throughout the film so it doesn't seem as if time passed.

 My group member and I finally fixed some editing issues where the screen will turn black for a long period of time in between the transition from the home to the school. We also added voiceovers to increase the dialogue for the main protagonist. Here are some of the issues we noticed and attempted to fix: For starters, we noticed that the story is not being portrayed that well and an average viewer may not even notice that the film is about a new student who is worried about going to a new school. To fix this we added more dialogue and voiceovers to emphasize that the student "Christina" is nervous as we wanted to give her more emotion. This is so the audience can relate to our character better and so we can grasp the attention of a specific teen audience.
