How does sound establish the opening image, the theme stated, set-up, and the catalyst? Ask questions such as: Is the sound melodic, discordant, or crescendo? How is the rhythm illustrating the pace of the film? (fast, slow, irregular) In the opening film, the sound created a calming aura to help the viewer understand the setting as welcoming and friendly, but as you hear the words and understand the concept of the narrator then you notice the dramatic effect the film has. The setup is very organized to show the theme of the film as the neighborhood has strict rules. the catalyst is set up  by a conversation had between the main character and himself as he's seeing colors while nobody
